        Jo-Hana Youngs Gooth was a fifth generation farmer and a member of one of the founding families on Long Island. She had served as a director of The Agricultural Society of Queens, Nassau and Suffolk Counties, first as Secretary, then as Vice President and finally as the Society’s President in 2010.

       Her father, John Youngs, was President of the Society until his death in 1999.
